The capital of the islands, this archipelago on the Baltic Sea, was completely frozen.
We wandered through icy streets at dawn, letting our camera capture the soft light reflecting off the frozen waters and pastel-coloured facades.
Beneath the city lies a museum on wheels: the subway stations are worlds of colour, geometry and unexpected design. Then a short ferry ride takes us to the archipelago’s calmer islands — a perfect contrast to the winter city buzz.
Stockholm glows in the early spring chill: the ice-covered harbour mirrors the city’s pastel houses, while the bridges connect each island like threads of light. In that quiet morning ambience, every frame felt like a painting.
