Mountains sinking into the sea, endless tunnels, and winding roads that always lead to a new view. Traveling here means changing landscapes every few kilometers.
Like mother, like daughter: we explored an island seemingly made for those who enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
The levadas wind through the laurel forest, pass tunnels, and end at hidden waterfalls. Each trail has its own rhythm: green, mist, and a silence broken only by the sound of water.

Madeira is all about slopes and heights: winding roads, suspended viewpoints, and villages tucked between the hills. Every curve reveals a new scene — deep greens and volcanic rock. Trails twist through ancient craters and ridges that seem to float in the mist. Here, the mountains feel alive, wrapped in silence and wind.
The sea is everywhere — in the roar of the waves beneath Cabo Girão, in the rocky pools of Porto Moniz, in the quiet villages of the north where the Atlantic moves slowly. Madeira smells of salt, wet stone, and freedom.

Madeira is more than trails and cliffs. Small villages, tropical gardens, and cobblestone streets filled with flowers. We explored the whole island, between sea and mountains, discovering places where life moves slowly.
At the Mercado dos Lavradores, colours take over everything: passion fruit, mango, guava, tiny bananas. Craft beer, meat skewers grilled over fire, and bolo do caco bread with garlic butter. One evening of fado and Madeira wine set the perfect tone to end the day.
