It was important to be up-to-date, so the site needed a facelift, renewing the design and structuring all the information.

When Armando contacted me to redesign his website, I felt a little overwhelmed. I didn’t know anything about web, didn’t understand most terms, and wasn’t familiar with the sector. His company sells technology to dental clinics—both products and services—covering all IT needs of dentists, from infrastructure, systems, and remote administration to security for sensitive patient data collection.

Information architecture

First, I organized all the content because there was a problem with its structure. I started structuring the information, dealing with technical jargon and language complexity.

Coordination with the developer

Responsive layout grid plus interface icon

Following the 8pt system, I worked with 12 columns, thinking about adaptation to other devices. All elements individually and in relation to each other follow the 8pt rule, allowing for more coordinated work.

The provided graphic resources were very limited and often low-quality. The rebranding made me find icons, illustrations, and photos—even using some of my own photos.

I followed an agile methodology to manage delivery phases with the development team. I used Trello for organization, Zeplin to facilitate the work, and sent them videos of the animations made with Flinto.
