A few years ago some friends gave me an amazing birthday present: a home-brewing kit. I started brewing beer at home and designing the labels too. The house specialty: beer adaptations inspired by bands, festivals and other little geeky things.
I bought and tested several brewing kits to make the beer. Production was very simple: mix the ingredients and wait for the days to pass. Living in Barcelona, the biggest problem was not being able to brew in summer because of the temperatures.
Beer has long been considered a very male thing. It sounds old-fashioned, but even today I’ve experienced being served a soda/coffee while the guy gets the beer.
My idea was to create a label that would always carry my brand while each one remained different. I also reused and purchased different bottles, so I had to adapt the format.
